Photo Light Effects - Open a photo in PSP. These examples show you how you can use the different illumination effects | lights to enhance an old photograph. The first example is our original photo. The top right photo shows the 'soft light (top)' option. Row 2 (left) shows an adjusted 'flash' light setting. And the bottom right photo shows a more natural looking 'soft light (upper right)' setting.

There's something really beautiful about old black and white photos, and the PSP program settings let you do some great things with them. Not only can you fix or correct them but you can also enhance them with some pretty dramatic lighting effects. The last example below shows an adjusted Sunburst (upper right) setting that has been smoothed:
